Firewall
7-Network recommends the use of hardware firewall and resells major brands of hardware firewall available. Hardware firewall, or appliance, is reliable and easy to maintain. We do not believe in software firewall as it requires to be installed onto a operating system which adds a level of vulnerability (OS has their own weak point). We also believe that customers do not need an expensive firewall to secure their network. But they need one that is good enough to support the workload generated within their network. 7-Network is able to implement all major brands of firewall but we recommend using CISCO ASA 5500 series of security appliances.
