Branded or DIY ? A question that has been in debate since the evolution of PC. What makes economical sense ? For DIY, it is cheaper to buy, but when it breaks down, the cost of maintenance is high. The components are usually not available for replacement ( DIY components usually has short shelf life). Service quality offered by the retailers is not good (given the small profit margin). For Branded, they may not be built to last, given the massiveness in their production and sales.
